Growing up in Long Beach and Kelso, Rachel’s home was full of pets, including dogs, cats, and fish—leading her to dream of becoming a veterinarian or zookeeper. She has worked in rescue shelters, grooming salons, and as a kennel tech and vet assistant before landing here at JHVC as Practice Manager. She says that building relationships with pet patients and their families is her favorite part of the job.
A self-described “dog” person with a soft spot for orange cats, Rachel shares her home with her boyfriend, three sons, six canines, one feline and some chickens. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with family—in particular, watching her oldest son race. She also enjoys camping, hiking, line dancing, and indulging herself with peanut butter cups, coffee, and shopping on Amazon.
