About the clinic
A small, independent cat and dog practice on Highway 12, run by people who live here too.

Our hospital
The little clinic in the fir trees.
You will find us at 628 US Hwy 12, next to Mary’s Corner, in good company with the medical clinic and Jackson Court House State Park. People drive in from Centralia, Mossyrock, Morton and Randle, partly because good vets are thin on the ground out this way, and partly because they keep coming back.
The clinic was founded by Dr. Dale Marker and his wife Donna, who noticed the area was short on good care and decided to do something about it. Dr. Amanda Spikerman joined as his associate in 2015 and took the practice on as he stepped back. It has been independent and locally run ever since.
What you can expect
Care that feels like it should.
A plan, before a bill
You hear the options and the cost up front. Plan A, B or C, never a surprise at the desk on the way out.
Faces your pet knows
A small, familiar team who get to know you and your pet over time, so you are not starting the story over at every visit.
Low stress, low restraint
We lean on fear free handling wherever we can. The best cat vaccine is the one the cat never noticed.

A relaxed, family sort of place
Come as you are, kids and all.
There are coloring sheets and crayons on standby for small humans, coffee by the window, and a wall of patient photos that Amanda is always adding to. Children are welcome to help during the exam, and cats are welcome to have the run of the room.
We look after cats and dogs, and we do that well. For exotics and large animals we keep a short list of clinics we rate and are happy to share it.
Meet the people behind the clinic.
The team is small, familiar and growing. Come and say hello.
